Abstract
Disclosed herein are systems and methods for handling closed subscriber group (CSG) based local / remote IP traffic offload and selective IP traffic offload. According to an aspect, a method may be implemented at user equipment (UE). The method may include determining that a service to the UE requires a predetermined quality of service (QoS). The method may also include selecting a gateway from among a plurality of gateways in response to determining that the service to the UE requires the predetermined QoS.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein selecting a target HeNB for the handover based on the ability of the target HeNB to support the session comprisesdetermining that the WTRU is permitted to receive service from the target HeNB.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein selecting a target HeNB for the handover based on the ability of the target HeNB to support the session comprises:', 'determining, based on CSG subscription information, that the WTRU is permitted to access the target HeNB;', 'verifying that the target HeNB is connected to a local gateway (LGW) providing the session for the WTRU; and determining that the WTRU is permitted to receive service from the target HeNB.
6. The method of claim 1 , wherein selecting a target HeNB for the handover based on the ability of the target HeNB to support the session comprises:', 'receiving a measurement from the WTRU for the target HeNB; and', 'analyzing the measurement to determine whether radio conditions between WTRU and the target HeNB support the session.
7. The method of claim 1 , wherein selecting a target HeNB for the handover based on the ability of the target HeNB to support the session comprises:', 'receiving an operator policy;', 'determining one or more conditions that indicate that support for the session using the operator policy; and', 'determining when the one or more conditions have been met.
8. The method of claim 1, wherein determining when the one or more conditions have been met occurs', 'receiving an operator policy;', 'determining one or more conditions that indicate that support for the session using the operator policy;', 'receiving a measurement from the WTRU for the target HeNB, the measurement indiciating whether radio conditions between the WTRU and the target HeNB support the session; and', 'determining when the one or more conditions have been met when the measurement when the measurement indicates that the radio conditions between the WTRU and the target HeNB support the session.
9. The method of claim 1 , wherein selecting a target HeNB for the handover based on the ability of the target HeNB to support the session comprises receiving a an indication that the session is supported on the target HeNB from the WTRU10.
