Abstract  Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for a terminal to perform cell measurement. The method includes receiving a radio resource configuration dedicated information element and a measurement object from a serving cell. Here the radio resource configuration dedicated information element includes first information on a measurement resource restriction pattern of a first cell. The measurement object includes a neighboring cell configuration information element representing an MBMS Single Frequency Network (MBSFN) configuration of at least one neighboring cell. The measurement object further includes second information on a resource restriction pattern representing a subframe to which restriction is applied when an RSRP and RSRQ of at least one neighboring cell are measured. The method may further include determining that a subframe indicated by the second information does not include an MBSFN subframe on neighboring cells on the list when an MBSFN configuration of a neighboring cell is not known or it is not clearly indicated by the neighboring cell configuration information element.
