Abstract
Embodiments of the invention disclose a communication method and a related device. The method comprises: a first network device sending a first request message to a second network device, wherein the first request message is used to request to add a cell of the second network device into a collaboration group, and the collaboration group comprises a cell of the first network device; a cell in the collaboration group being used to allocate a portion of resources to form a first resource set, the resources comprised in the first resource set being periodic, the resources in the first resource set being used to ensure that resources in a co-directional transmission occupy a same frequency band, and the first resource set being used for communication between a network device and a terminal device; the first network device receiving a response message sent by the second network device with regard to the first request message; and the first network device adding the cell of the second network device into the cooperation group if the response message indicates that the cell of the second network device is allowed to be added into the cooperation group. The embodiments of the invention reduce interference when communicating with a terminal device.
