Abstract
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a cell cooperation method and a related device, the method comprising: a network device receives from a terminal device first information used for activating cell cooperation; and, on the basis of the first information, the network device activates cell cooperation. By means of implementing the embodiments of the present application, the network device does not activate cell cooperation immediately after receiving data to be sent, but rather activates cell cooperation when the terminal device requires cell cooperation, preventing premature activation of cell cooperation, and improving the rate of utilisation of time frequency resources.
