Abstract  Abstract

A method and device for interactive operations between different systems. The method comprises: a terminal sending a first message to a first access management network element of a first communication network, wherein the first message comprises first indication information and second indication information, the first indication information indicates that the terminal supports a first non-access stratum (NAS) of the first communication network and a second NAS of a second communication network, and the second indication information indicates that the terminal supports single network registration; and the terminal receiving a first response message to the first message from the first access management network element, wherein the first response message comprises information indicating whether an interface exists between the first access management network element and a second access management network element of the second communication network. As such, the invention resolves issues with existing interactive operations between different systems in which there is a large amount of signaling and operation is complex.
