Abstract  Abstract

The present application provides a data transmission method and apparatus. The method comprises: a network device sends a data packet to a terminal device by means of an intermediate node; first, the network device determines first DCI and a first data packet, wherein the first DCI is processed by means of the identifier of the terminal device, and the first data packet comprises the data packet sent to the terminal device; then, the network device sends the first DCI and the first data packet to the intermediate node. According to the data transmission method provided by the present application, the terminal device can only listens to a signal sent by the intermediate node, thereby reducing the complexity of the terminal device; moreover, the intermediate node only needs to correctly descramble the first DCI to obtain the first data packet, and directly forward the first data packet to the terminal device without analyzing the first data packet, and thus, the data packet can be forwarded quickly, thereby improving the data transmission performance.
