Abstract
The present application relates to the technical field of communications, and provided are a communication method and apparatus. In the method, a terminal may send to a network device a number of radio frequency channels supported by each carrier among a plurality of carriers when the terminal performs uplink sending on the plurality of carriers in a TDM manner. In the described method, the terminal may report to the network device the number of radio frequency channels used by each carrier when the terminal performs uplink sending in the TDM manner, so that the network device may configure, under the TDM manner and for the terminal according to the actual capabilities of the terminal, the number of radio frequency channels used by each carrier, thereby improving the uplink sending capabilities of the terminal.
