Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for keeping a UE context during a network leaving procedure. One apparatus (600) includes a processor (605) coupled to a transceiver (625), the processor (605) and the transceiver (625) configured to cause the apparatus (600) to receive (705) a request from a terminal to leave the communication network; to determine (710) to keep the terminal in an MM Connected state while the terminal is away from the communication network; to identify (715) a leave time for the terminal; and to send (720), to a second network function, an indication that the terminal is leaving for the determined away time, said indication including an instruction not to release a user plane context of the terminal.
