Abstract
An apparatus (100) is provided to generate spectral replacement values for an audio signal. The apparatus (100) comprises a buffer unit (110) for storing prior spectral values related to an error-free audio frame previously received. In addition, the apparatus (100) comprises the concealment box generator (120) to generate the spectral replacement values, when a current audio frame has not been received or is wrong. The error-free audio box previously received comprises filter information, the filter information associates a stability value of the filter indicating a stability of a prediction filter. The concealment box generator (120) is adapted to generate the spectral replacement values based on the previous spectral values and based on the stability value of the filter.
