Abstract  Abstract

WIRELESS KEY METHOD. A wireless LAN (WLAN) system for communications between a plurality of users within a basic service system or cell comprising an access switch point (SAP) for transmitting and receiving point-to-multipoint communications to and from users. . A plurality of ports are available from SAP, each assigned to a single carrier frequency for isolated communications between users to prevent collisions, with the ability to designate frequency not to be permanent, and the ability to designate dynamic or pseudorandom carriers. An alternate SAP configuration uses beaming to provide space ports for assignments from a plurality of users.
