Abstract  Abstract

The invention discloses an encoding method, an encoding device, a decoding method and a decoding device for low-density generator matrix codes. The encoding method comprises: utilizing low-density generator matrix codes with different code lengths of which the number is P and the code rate is R0 to construct a low-density generator matrix code female code set, wherein the low-density generator matrix code female code set has a unified basis matrix Gb<uniform>, R0 is equal to kb/nb, kb refers to the row number of the basis matrix, and the nb refers to the column number of the basis matrix; acquiring the length L of an intermediate variable according to the relation between the length K of an information bit sequence to be encoded and the length L of the intermediate variable in the low-density generator matrix code female code set; acquiring an expansion factor zk for processing the basis matrix by utilization of the length L of the intermediate variable and the row number kb of the basis matrix, and acquiring a generator matrix by utilization of the expansion factor zk to correct and expand the basis matrix; and encoding the information bit sequence to be encoded by utilization of a matrix Gldgc(1:L,1:N+L-K) consisting of an L row and the prior N+L-K column of the generator matrix.
