Abstract
An encoding method, encoding device, decoding method and decoding device for low density generator matrix codes are disclosed. The encoding method includes: constructing the mother code set of low density generator matrix codes using P low density generator matrix codes with code rate and different code lengths, and the mother code set has the uniform basic matrix where , and respectively denote the number of rows and the number of columns in the basic matrix; getting the length L of one intermediate variant according to the length K of the information bit sequence to be encoded in the mother code set; modifying and expanding the basic matrix to get the generator matrix using the length L and the number ; encoding the information bit sequence with the matrix composed of the L lines and the front N+L-K columns of the generator matrix where N denotes the length of the encoded information.
