The invention claims techniques for in wireless communication system reporting acknowledgement (ACK) information and channel quality indication (CQI) information in a wireless communication system. user equipment (UE) may be able to through the dual cell operation to receive data from several up to two small regions. The UE may determine the first cell CQI information to the CQI information to determine CQI information for a second cell and through single channelization codes to send two cells on a feedback channel. The UE may process the control channel of each cell and if the control information is received from the cell can be further processed from the data channel of the cell to receive data sent to the UE. The UE may based on the processing result of the data channel and the control channel from each cell to determine ACK information for the cell. the ACK information to the UE through the single channel code and sending two cell on the feedback channel.
