Abstract  Abstract

The mobile communication system of the invention is a mobile communication system comprising a base station and a control station the mobile station of each base station forming a cell and present in the cell to transmit MBMS data and each control station to control the connection with the base station wherein the control station comprises at least a first control station and the second control station. the second control station is determined for transmitting the MBMS data in a cell of the frequency and timing and indicating the determined frequency and timing to the first control station wherein each control station of the first control station and the second control station with another control station establishes time synchronization and indicates the connection base station of the cell set to the frequency determined by the second control station. and transmitting the MBMS data according to the transmission timing determined by the second control station to the base station of the connection.

A mobile communication system comprises base stations each of which forms a cell and transmits MBMS data to a mobile station existing in the cell; and control stations each of which controls a base station connected thereto.  The control stations include at least one first control station and further include one second control station that decides a frequency and a timing of transmitting MBMS data in the cell and that instructs the first control station on the use of the decided frequency and timing.  Each of the first and second control stations establishes a time synchronization with another control station and instructs the connected base station to set the cell to the frequency decided by the second control station and further transmits to the connected base station the MBMS data in accordance with the transmission timing decided by the second control station.
