Abstract  Abstract

The invention claims an access terminal (206) for autonomous and scheduled resource allocation of collaboration of the distributed communication system. the access terminal (206) is configured in the sector (1032) of the access network (204) for wireless communication comprising: a transmitter (2608) for transmitting a reverse traffic channel to the access network (204) an antenna (2614) for receiving signals from the access network (204) a processor (2602) and to memory in electronic communication with the processor (2602) (2604). Instructions stored in the memory (2604) to realize a method comprising determining whether to stream (1216) has been received on the access terminal (206) from the access network (2024) of the current power allocation grant (1374). if the current power allocation grant (1374) is still active then the current power allocation (1338a) for the flow is set equal to the current power allocation grant (1374). if it does not receive the current power allocation grant (1374) the current power allocation (1338a) for the flow is determined.
