providing a beam selection. method for a handover in a mobile station comprising: applying for a serving base station (BS) and the neighboring BS scanning downlink (DL) beam scanning request message to the serving BS and receiving a service response message; DL beam based on the scanning response message by the serving BS and the neighbour BSs to implement scanning to determine the MS; result comprises scanning the scan report message to the serving BS when the serving BS receiving the Air-HO request message Air-HO-based request message generation comprises neighbour BSs to the MS handover information of Air-HO response message based on the Air-HO request message by utilizing the adjacent BS handover to carry out beam selection and performing handover.
