Abstract
The invention provides user equipment and a receiving method. The user equipment comprises a receiving unit and a demodulation unit. The receiving unit receives multiple ports of reference signals distributed on predetermined wireless resources of multiple layers of resource blocks with the same time and frequency resources from multiple sending points. The demodulation unit detects the multiple layers of the resource blocks in the time domain and/or frequency domain so as to acquire the multiple ports of the reference signals. At multiple sending point sides, each port of the reference signals is selectively multiplied with an orthogonal cover code in multiple orthogonal cover codes with the same length. The orthogonal cover code multiplied with the first port of the reference signal is different from the orthogonal cover codes of other ports of the reference signals. Ports of the reference signals are adopted in positions at a distance of six subcarriers in two adjacent orthogonal frequency division multiplexing code elements and resource blocks, and the length of the orthogonal cover code is 4.
