Abstract

The application provides a communication method and a communication device, wherein the method comprises the steps that terminal equipment determines a time synchronization period, and the time synchronization period is N times of a sending period of a first signal; n is more than or equal to 2 and is an integer; the terminal device determines a target signal group, wherein the target signal group is a signal group used for time synchronization, the target signal group is one of N groups of first signals transmitted or received by the terminal device in a time synchronization period, and the time synchronization period is a period lasting for one time synchronization period. The terminal device can determine the target signal group according to the first indication information or protocol agreement sent by the network device, so that the target signal group for time synchronization determined by the network device is the same as the target signal group for time synchronization determined by the terminal device, and the reliability of time synchronization is ensured.
