Abstract  Abstract

A multi-carrier communication method and a multi-carrier communication apparatus for use in that method wherein when code blocks produced by an error correction encoding process are arranged not only in the time axis direction but also in the frequency axis direction so as to improve the error correction rate of multi-carrier signals such arrangement is adjusted on a code-block-by-code-block basis in accordance with the actual reception status of the multi-carrier signals. The present method comprises an encoding step for subjecting a multi-carrier signal to an error correction encoding process; a transmission step for transmitting the multi-carrier signal as subjected to the error correction encoding process; a reception step for receiving the transmitted multi-carrier signal; an analyzing step for analyzing based on the received multi-carrier signal the reception status; and an arrangement adjusting step for adjusting the arrangement of the code blocks produced by the error correction encoding process.

The present method comprises an encoding step for subjecting a multi-carrier signal to an error correction encoding process; a transmission step for transmitting the multi-carrier signal as subjected to the error correction encoding process; a reception step for receiving the transmitted multi-carrier signal; an analyzing step for analyzing based on the received multi-carrier signal the reception status; and an arrangement adjusting step for adjusting the arrangement of the code blocks produced by the error correction encoding process.

carrier communication apparatus in a multi-carrier communication method and used in the method in order to improve the error correction rate of the multi-carrier signal when not only in the time axis direction but also code blocks generated after processing by the error correction coding in the frequency axis direction according to the actual reception state of the multicarrier signal by code block units configured to adjust. the present invention relates to a method comprising: encoding processing step the multi-carrier signal to error correction encoding processing sending step the multicarrier signal subjected to the error correction coding process for sending receiving step receiving the transmitted step according to the multicarrier signal analyze the received multi-carrier signal to receiving state analysis and code configured to block adjust the configuration step according to the analysis result in the analyzing step after generating the error correction coding process is adjusted.
