An IP multimedia subsystem IMS register triggering realization method comprising: IMS registration to the needed user network side or initial triggering user sends IMS register triggering indication information to indicate said user needed IMS register to IP multimedia subsystem to initiate IMS registration according to the IMS register triggering indication information the user needed IMS register is triggered initiating IMS registration to the IP multimedia subsystem. because of the network side or initial triggering user triggers the called IMS user registration which can avoid IMS session the user needed IMS register not the IMS registration SIP message cannot be sent to the user cannot perform IMS session.
