Abstract  Abstract

A kind of system and way can in the period of channel building of CDMA communication system at the upgrade period of initial power use a short code transmitted from user unit to base station to control the transmitting power. This short code is a sequence used for base station checking. The cycle of it is shorter than the traditional transmitting code cycle. The power upgrade begins at a power level is proved to be lower than the power level needed to check. The user unit increases the transmitting power fast when repeat to transmit short code until the signal is detected by base station. The use of short code limits the power rest and the interference to other user station. And it also permits that the base station is synchronous with the transmitting code used by user unit.
