Abstract  Abstract

A method of reducing message traffic between a service control point (SCP/SCF) and switching point (SSP/SSF) for executing an intelligent network service in the service switching point (SSP). A service logic comprising the operations the execution of which implements said intelligent network service is formed for each intelligent network service to be executed in the switching point (SSP). The service switching point (SSP) receives the service logic and at least one criterion upon the fulfilment of which the service switching point (SSP) is to execute said operations. Upon fulfilment of said criterion the service switching point (SSP) executes said operations.
