The present invention discloses a interactive method of reporting the location report by target UE in the location service, the method concluding: when the target UE has received the location information request from the requesting end and has detected the activating reporting the location reports events ocurring, the target UE will report the location report to the LCS system; when the LCS system has received the location report reported by the target UE, it will return the location report response to the target UE. Furthermore, when the target UE reports the location report to the LCS system, at the same time the target UE also starts the timer which has a designated time range and judges weather the target UE has received the reporting location report response from the LCS system, if has received, it will stop the timer; otherwise it will report the location report to the LCS system again and start the timer synchronously. Through the present invention, it reduces the error of reporting the location report and reduces the uncertainty of performing the location service.
