Abstract  Abstract

A transmission control method for transmitting data through a plurality of antennas using regions (K1 to K16) defined by frequency and time axes comprising:
providing the data to be transmitted with a delay different from each other according to cyclic delay for each of outputs of the antennas: and
providing the data to be transmitted with one of a plurality of initial phases (p1 p2) for each of the regions such that the one of the initial phases for the each of the regions is different from other of the initial phases for at least one of neighboring regions the neighboring regions being adjacent to the each of the regions.

A base station has a transmit section which transmits data using this transmission control method. A mobile unit has a receiver which receives the data transmitted by the transmission control method. A communication system comprises such a base station and such a mobile unit.
