Abstract  Abstract

In accordance with the inventive procedure for the administration of supplementary services (SS), a subscriber auto-entry (SCI) is initiated at a communications terminal (MS) by the subscriber for the supplementary service involved. Said subscriber auto-entry (SCI) causes at least the communications terminal (MS) to produce a structured container message (USSD-M). Said message from the container is then sent to a memory unit (HLR) of the communications network (KN). Once the container message (USSD-M) has been received by the memory unit (HLR) it is also transmitted through an interface (SH-IF) that links the memory unit (HLR) to the control point of service (SCP). The interface implemented between the memory unit and the service control point allows the container message to reach the service control unit by means of a subscriber auto-entry (SCI) for the additional service, for service management.
