Abstract  Abstract

A data processing procedure in a support access control (MAC) layer of a transmission side in a communication system, comprising receiving at least two units of service data (SDU) transferred from an upper layer, and transmitting a protocol data unit (PDU) that includes the at least two service data units (SDUs) in a lower layer, in which the protocol data unit (PDU) includes at least two headers that provide control information for the at least two service data units (SDUs), each header being located respectively just before a corresponding service data unit (SDU), characterized in that the PDU has at least two SDUs, for which it is not necessary for a The PDUs reception side sends an acknowledgment message, and because each header includes a MAC-SDU length region that indicates a corresponding service data unit (SDU) dimension, in which e the MAC-SDU length region is positioned in each header so that the MAC-SDU length region is immediately adjacent to the corresponding service data unit.
