Abstract
A method for processing a support in a signaling reduction mechanism in idle mode, ISR, comprising: receiving (102; 202; 302), by means of a service gateway, SGW (42), a demand between a demand to create a support, a demand to update a support and a demand to delete a support from a packet data network gateway, PGW (43); initiate (103; 203; 303), via the gateway SGW (42), a mobility management network element in a current network of a user equipment, UE, and a mobility management network element in a network former resident of the UE for the operational search of the UE, if the SGW gateway (42) confirms that the UE is in a state of inactivity for the access modes included in the ISR mechanism; receiving (104; 205; 307), via the gateway SGW (42), an access mode of the current network of the UE from the mobility management network element in the current network of the UE; notify (108; 207; 309), via the SGW gateway (42), the PGW gateway (43) of the current network access mode of the UE if the access mode of the current network of the UE is incompatible with the access mode of the previous resident network of the EU; send (110; 209; 311), via the PGW gateway (43), the access mode of the current network of the UE to a policy and billing rights function, PCRF (44) and acquire a policy control rule and billing, PCC, corresponding to the access mode of the current network of the UE from the PCRF function (44) and start (111; 210; 312), using the PGW gateway (43), one of the following processes according to the acquired CCP rule corresponding to the access mode of the current network of the UE: a support activation processing; support modification processing and support suppression processing, wherein support activation processing, support modification processing and support suppression processing, respectively, are initiated by the demand to create a support, the demand for support update a support and demand to delete a support, respectively.
