Abstract  Abstract

A user equipment, configured to: receive (702), in a first subframe, a downlink physical control channel, PDCCH, or an enhanced downlink physical control channel, EPDCCH, corresponding to a semi-persistent planning activation, SPS; configure (704), depending on the SPS activation, a downlink assignment in a second subframe; and receiving, in the second subframe, an SPS downlink shared physical channel, PDSCH, without a corresponding PDCCH or EPDCCH; characterized in that the PDCCH or EPDCCH of said first subframe carries an nSCID value of a randomization identity that will be used in SPS communications; and the user equipment (102) is further configured to: determine (706) a sequence of reference signals corresponding to the SPS PDSCH using the nSCID value obtained from the PDCCH or EPDCCH corresponding to the associated SPS activation; and process (708) the SPS PDSCH based on the sequence of reference signals determined using the nSCID value obtained from the PDCCH or EPDCCH corresponding to the associated SPS activation.
