Abstract  Abstract

Methods, systems, and devices for transmitting and receiving SPS communications are disclosed herein. The user equipment (UE) is configured to receive a physical downlink control channel or an enhanced physical downlink control channel (PDCCH / EPDCCH) corresponding to semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) activation in a first subframe. PDCCH / EPDCCH carries the value of nSCID. The UE configures the downlink (DL) configuration in the second subframe to receive the SPS Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) without the corresponding PDCCH / EPDCCH based on the SPS activation. The UE uses the nSCID obtained from the PDCCH / EPDCCH corresponding to the associated SPS activation to determine the reference signal sequence corresponding to the SPS PDSCH. The UE receives the SPS PDSCH in the second subframe. The UE processes the SPS PDSCH based on the reference signal sequence for the SPS PDSCH in the second subframe using the nSCID obtained from the PDCCH / EPDCCH corresponding to the associated SPS activation. The UE is configured with a transmission mode 10 (TM10).
