Abstract  Abstract

A user equipment (720) operable to report channel status information, CSI, periodic, configured in a specified transmission mode, which has computer circuitry (722) configured to: generate (510), in the user equipment, a plurality of CSI reports for transmission in a subframe for a plurality of CSI processes when the user equipment operates in a coordinated multipoint configuration, CoMP, and carrier aggregation, where each of the CSI reports corresponds to a type of uplink control physical channel report, PUCCH, a CSI process that has a CSI process index; discard (520) CSI reports corresponding to CSI processes, except for a CSI process that has a lower CSI process index when CSI reports have PUCCH report types of the same priority; discard CSI reports based on a service cell index, except a CSI report with the lowest service cell index, when the CSI process indices for CSI reports are the same and the types of report of PUCCH for CSI reports are the same; and inform (530) for the transmission of at least one CSI report.
