Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for periodic channel state information (channel state information:CSI) report inn CoMP(coordinated multipoint) scenario.

SOLUTION: A user equipment (UE) generates multiple CSI reports for transmission in a subframe. Each CSI report corresponds to a CSI process having a CSI process index and each CSI report corresponds to a service cell index. When the CSI process index of a CSI report is the same the UE drops a CSI report corresponding to the service cell index excepting the CSI report having the lowest serving cell index. The UE encodes at least one CSI report for transmission. The at least one CSI report is for the CSI process having the lowest serving cell index.
