Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enhancing transmission performance with respect to a TFCI by which a transmitter side can more efficiently encode a TFCI information bit and a receiver side can efficiently decode the bit similarly without the need for extending the hardware of the transmitter side and the receiver side and to provide a method for preventing the humming distance form being decreased due to puncturing before transmission of a code word resulting from coding the TFCI information bit especially.

SOLUTION: The method for transmitting the transmission format combination indicator(TFCI) in a wireless communication system includes a step where the TFCI code word is repeater by a prescribed number of times a step where bits are selected from the repetitive code words so that the bits selected from a code word block obtained by repeating the bits of the TFCI code word can be distributed to the code word blocks a step where the bits selected from the repetitive code words are punctured and a step where the punctured code word is transmitted by means of a wireless frame.
