Abstract  Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for improving a transmission capacity for a TFCI(Transport Format Combination Indicator) is provided to effectively code and decode TFCI information bits without additional software of a receiver and a transmitter. CONSTITUTION: A system codes TFCI(Transport Format Combination Indicator) information bits for being transmitted through each wireless frame. The system repeats TFCI codewords generated by coding as much as a determined frequency. The system applies puncturing patterns to each repeat code generated as much as the frequency, and punctures bits of each different location each repeat code. The system divides/inserts the codewords of a determined length into each slot of the wireless frames, and transmits the codewords.
