Abstract  Abstract

When DCCH is mapped to HS-DSCH, it detects that HS-DSCH will not be received correctly from the serving cell (eg, uplink measurement report, or common pilot in service HS-DSCH cell in general) A method and apparatus are provided for defining terminal behavior in a channel (CPICH) that does not receive any radio link control (RLC) admission mode feedback for too low a level. The terminal autonomously transitions to a Cell Forward Access Channel (CELL_FACH) state, notifies the network on a random access channel (RACH), and requests HS-DSCH re-establishment in a compatible cell. Set up normal R99 / R5 DPCH to initiate uplink signaling or to repair RRC signaling connection in CELL_DCH state. (Selection) Figure 2
