Abstract  Abstract

FIELD: information technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: method and device specify behaviour of terminal in case when it detects the fact that it can not reliably receive high-speed down-link separated channel (HS-DSCH) from serviced cell and dedicated control channel (DCCH) is projected at HS-DSCH channel (for instance terminal does not receive feedback information in mode of radio line control (RLC) confirmation for messages on results of measurement in up-link or in general the level of common pilot channel (CPICH) drops down too low in cell that services HS-DSCH channel). Terminal autonomously changes in condition of cell forward access channel (CELL FACH) and signaling of up-link is initiated along random access channel (RACH) to communicate this to network unit and to request recovery of HS-DSCH channel in suitable cell or to establish standard dedicated physical channel (DPCH) according to version 99/version 5 of UMTS in order to recover connection of signaling to control radio resources (RRC) in condition of CELL DCH. ^ EFFECT: improved throughput capacity. ^ 111 cl 7 dwg
