Abstract
The present invention provides a method for determining a preferred image format in a UE that supports mobile video calls between UEs. The UE must have each camera and receive and display image transmission control information included in the preferred image format from the partner UE. If the preferred image format requested by the partner UE is acceptable, the partner UE may select at least one of an acceptable response message and an acceptable new preferred image format depending on the acceptability of the requested preferred image format. The image transmission control information included in one is transmitted.
