Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method efficient for handling an SFN(Self-Frame Number).

SOLUTION: A wireless transmission/reception unit (WTRU) transmits a measurement report 202 to a source eNB and receives a handover command 208 from the source eNB. The WTRU receives the handover command and starts the reception and processing of P-BCH(Primary Broadcast Channel) in a target cell (210). The WTRU transmits a random access preamble 212 to the target eNB and receives a random access response 214 from the target eNB and transmits a handover completion message 216 to the target eNB. The reception and processing of the P-BCH is started immediately after the handover command is received or after the handover completion message is transmitted. The WTRU applies a default configuration or a source cell configuration in the target cell until the SFN and/or P-BCH information of the target cell is acquired.
