Abstract  Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method for efficiently performing power control in a situation where a UE is connected to both a master base station and a secondary base station. The master base station determines the power distribution ratio of the power used by the UE for uplink transmission to the master base station and the secondary base station, determines parameters PEMAX, MeNB and PEMAX, SeNB, Transmit to the secondary base station / UE so that it can be used for power control. Furthermore, the master base station performs the power distribution ratio update with assistance from the UE, i.e. the UE provides information on the path loss in the second radio link to the secondary base station, preferably to the secondary base station. Providing to the master base station by sending a virtual power headroom report for the second radio link. The master base station derives information about the path loss in the second radio link from this virtual power headroom report.
