Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved concepts for decrypting encoded audio signals and to provide a decryption device and a decryption method that can delete or eliminate the effect of artifacts.

SOLUTION: A decryption device which decrypts encoded audio signals including an encoded core signal and parametric data comprises: a core decoder 600 that decrypts the encoded core signal to obtain a decrypted core signal; an analyzer 602 that analyzes the decrypted core signal prior to a frequency reproduction action or after implementing the frequency reproduction action to obtain an analysis result 603; a spectrum part of the decrypted core signal; and a frequency regenerator 604 that regenerates the spectrum part not included in the decrypted core signal using the parametric data 605 and the analysis result 603.
