Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sufficient frequency diversity effects even without controlling spread coefficients or coding coefficients in error-correcting coding on the side of a radio transmitter.

SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a transmission control method adapted to a transmission system in which slots are assigned to chunks divided in a frequency domain and in a time domain. When output signals are sent to a plurality of transmitting antennas output signals of the transmitting antennas are delayed respectively. When the frequency bandwidth of a chunk is defined as Fc delay is controlled in such a way that a maximum delay time among the transmitting antennas becomes a prescribed first value smaller than 1/Fc or a prescribed second value larger than 1/Fc; and when transmitting a transmitting signal under frequency diversity the delay is controlled to a second value.
