PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for initiating services to mobile terminals supporting connectivity to at least two access networks and to reduce power consumption of the mobile terminals.

SOLUTION: A mobile terminal comprises: receiving means for receiving via a second access network a paging request transmitted by an entity of a core network while being attached to the second access network; service requesting means for transmitting in response to the paging request via the second access network a message to the entity which requests service delivery by the entity via a first access network employing a different radio access technology from that of the second access network; command receiving means for receiving a command for handover to the first access network transmitted from the entity via the second access network; and connecting means for connecting to the first access network.
