Abstract
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving packets in a mobile communication system. According to the present invention, when multiplexing upper layer packets to a packet whose size is known through a separate path, if the size of the upper layer packet can be calculated from the total size, the size of the upper layer packet is not signaled. In this way, the size of the packet transmitted / received through the wireless channel can be reduced.
