Abstract
The present invention proposes a CQI expression and feedback method so that the amount of increase in CQI feedback overhead is not large while supporting both single user MIMO and multiuser MIMO operations. If the basic MIMO operation is set to single user MIMO or multi-user MIMO, the base station may have received MIMO CQI feedback optimized for the corresponding MIMO operation. However, if the scheduler selects an alternative MIMO operation other than the default MIMO operation, the base station calculates the CQI required for the alternative MIMO operation based on the absolute CQI feedback for the basic MIMO operation and the relative CQI feedback for the alternative MIMO operation. That is, the present invention enables the best operation by providing accurate CQI in the basic MIMO operation, and enables suboptimal operation in the alternative MIMO operation. In the case of using the present invention, the base station can dynamically select the operation of the single-user MIMO and multi-user MIMO can increase the resource management efficiency.
