Abstract  Abstract

The present invention relates to a finger weighted at a chip rate that can be used in a smart antenna system, a demodulation device for a receiving modem using the same, and a method thereof, and a computer-readable recording medium having recorded thereon a program for realizing the method. . The present invention is useful in wireless communication networks with reverse pilot channels. In addition, by using such a finger, the present invention provides a demodulation device and method for high-speed broadband communication implementation that can be used in the smart antenna system. In 3rd generation wireless communication in which traffic signals and pilot signals are transmitted from a terminal, the present invention calculates an optimized weight vector using a pilot signal, and the calculated weight vector is applied to each traffic signal together with the chip rate weight.
