Abstract
The synchronization method according to the present invention for end-to-end direct communication in a TDMA mobile communication system includes the following steps when using an uplink time slot in a normal communication: In an initial stage, the transmitter is conventional as usual. Transmitting a signal to a receiver in accordance with a transmission timing for the communication; The receiver detects signals from transmitters in its vicinity during normal communication and selects the signal with the strongest output as the strongest interference signal; The receiver detecting a signal from the transmitter and comparing the arrival time of the signal of the transmitter with the arrival time of the strongest interfering signal, thereby obtaining an adjustment control command for the transmitter and feeding the control command back to the transmitter; And the transmitter adjusts its transmission timing according to the control command it received. The present invention solves the synchronization problem of direct communication in a TDD mobile communication system.
