Abstract  Abstract

A method for allocating sequences having various resource block lengths, and a method for grouping the sequences for the same are provided to allocate the sequences even when sequences having different lengths are flowed to the same resource area from an adjacent cell in a multi-cell environment to minimize ICI, thereby preventing the deterioration of channel prediction performance caused by a high ICI. Sequences having ICI(Inter Cell Interference) more than a predetermined interference threshold value are grouped into the same group in sequences having various RB(Resource Block) lengths such as 1 RB, 2RB, and 3RB. The sequences gruoped to the same group are allocated to the same sequence allocation unit area. A sequence allocation unit may be a node B or a cell. A RS sequence having the length of an N RB longer than the 1 RB can be grouped to include at least one sequence index according to the length of each corresponding RB on the basis of the number of RS sequences having the length of the 1 RB.
