A METHOD AND AN APPARATUS FOR DATA TRANSMISSION

Abstract

Provides a method for transmitting data. The method includes the steps of: performing, by the system, resource element mapping on a modulation code that includes data waiting to be transmitted and a reference signal and is assigned to an antenna port of a specified type; Performing antenna port mapping on a modulation code obtained through resource element mapping; And generating an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal based on the modulated signal obtained through antenna port mapping, and transmitting the generated OFDM signal through a physical antenna. The invention also provides an apparatus for data transmission. According to the method and apparatus according to the present invention, the beamforming weight is added to the users modulation code by establishing a mapping relationship between the physical antenna element and the antenna port. Therefore, the beamforming operation of the user can be realized. Accordingly, the system can support beamforming transmission with flexibility in the frequency domain, thereby improving flexibility of data transmission of the system.
