Abstract  Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting and receiving data between a base station and a relay are provided to efficiently transmit and receive data by suggesting a new HARQ(Hybrid Automatic Request) method between a base station and a relay. CONSTITUTION: A relay receives data on the nth sub frame of a down link from a base station. The location of the sub frame of an uplink is determined for transmitting data after the reception of the data. A determined sub frame corresponds to an n+k number sub frame. K is determined based on the information about a fixed HARQ(Hybrid Automatic Request) and the value of n. The data is transmitted on the n+k number sub frame of the uplink. The information about the HARQ directs a HARQ process which is performed in the location of an odd number sub frame or in the location of an even number sub frame.
