Abstract  Abstract

A resource allocation method, a channel state information (CSI) transmission method, a base station (BS) and a user equipment (UE) are disclosed. The resource allocation method includes the steps of the BS determining that the UE needs to report aperiodic CSI of associated downlink component carriers (CCs); And the BS allocating resources corresponding to the UE according to the number of related downlink CCs. Since the BS allocates resources corresponding to the UE according to the number of related downlink CCs, the resources are flexibly allocated, and uplink CSI transmission of multiple carriers is supported.
