Abstract  Abstract

A resource allocation method, comprising: determining by a base station that a user equipment should report aperiodic channel state information of relevant downlink carrier components; and allocation by the base station of the corresponding resources to the user equipment in accordance with the number of relevant downlink carrier components; the maximum number of resources allocated by the base station to the user equipment is the first predetermined amount if the base station determines that the user equipment should report aperiodic information channel status of one downlink component carrier; and the maximum amount of resources allocated by the base station to the user equipment is a second predetermined amount if the base station determines that the user equipment should report aperiodic channel state information of more than one downlink component carrier; the second quantity is greater than the first quantity. 2 . The method of claim 2, wherein the first amount is 4; and the second amount is 5 or 6.3. A base station comprising: a first determination module for determining that user equipment should report aperiodic channel state information of relevant downlink carrier components; resource allocation module for distributing the corresponding resources to the user equipment in accordance with the number of relevant load carriers
